Stamford's SilverSource To Honor Bestselling Author At Annual Luncheon
The event benefits SilverSource and recognizes an individual whose work reflects compassion and resilience. It will take place in Darien.
STAMFORD, CT — SilverSource, the nonprofit agency that provides services and resources for older adults in need in the Stamford area, will host its annual Inspiring Lives Luncheon on Thursday, May 15, at 11:30 a.m. at the Woodway Country Club in Darien, where bestselling author, screenwriter and playwright Delia Ephron will be honored with the 2025 Adele Gordon Inspiring Lives Award.
The event recognizes an individual whose work reflects compassion and resilience, while also raising awareness and funds to support seniors facing instability and hardship.
Ephron’s remarkable determination to "go for it" no matter what life dishes out – compellingly and hilariously chronicled in her memoir "Left on Tenth" and its recent Broadway adaptation – serves as a powerful example of embracing second chances. Each attendee will receive a copy of the book
