Street Sweeping Begins In Stamford This Week: Here's Where

Mayor Caroline Simmons said that vehicles may be subject to ticketing and towing for failing to move.

STAMFORD, CT — Some spring cleaning will take place on Stamford streets beginning this week.

Mayor Caroline Simmons announced that street sweeping will begin on the East Side Tuesday and continue there through Wednesday.

Simmons noted that vehicles may be subject to ticketing and towing for failing to move. Residents are being advised to look at signs posted on their road to know which day of the week they have to move their vehicles.

  • Tuesday, April 1 – East Side
  • Wednesday, April 2 – East Side
  • Tuesday, April 8 – South End
  • Monday, April 14 – South End
  • Tuesday, April 15 – West Side
  • Monday, April 21 – West Side
