Student-Athletes Honored At Stamford High School Signing Day Event

Several students will be taking their athletic talents to the collegiate level next year. Here's where they're going to school.

STAMFORD, CT — Several Stamford High School student-athletes were honored this week during a signing day event.

The students took part in a brief ceremony at SHS, officially marking the next step in their athletic careers.

SHS Athletic Director Chris Passamano told Patch additional signing day events will take place before the school year is over.

  • Orlando Camacho, lacrosse, Lebanon Valley University
  • John Thomas, volleyball, Merrimack College
  • Rory O’Halloran, soccer, University of Hartford
  • Jared Relayze, soccer, Albertus Magnus College
  • Anne Leydon, field hockey, Middlebury College
  • Gracie Kapitan, lacrosse, Western Connecticut State University
  • Chris Berlingo, baseball, Salve Regina University
  • Aidan O’Loughlin, baseball, Trinity College
  • Alec Stark, lacrosse, Juniata College
  • Wilman Junior Ozuna Acosta, baseball, Albertus Magnus College
