'Suspicious' Letter Prompts Lockdown At Stamford Courthouse: CT State Police
Hazmat units and the State Police Emergency Services Unit responded to the Stamford Superior Courthouse on Wednesday, officials said.
STAMFORD, CT — The Stamford Superior Courthouse was locked down on Wednesday after a "suspicious" letter was received, according to the Connecticut State Police.
The building on Hoyt Street was locked down at approximately 11:10 a.m. while hazmat units and the State Police Emergency Services Unit responded, state police said.
Units remained at the courthouse Wednesday afternoon as the investigation continued, state police noted.
