Swim Safety Information Session Held

Part of Safety Step-Up Initiative developed by Stamford EMS in partnership with S4K

A swim safety information session was held yesterday at Chelsea Piers in Stamford. Families took part in interactive demonstrations and learned valuable safety information to keep children safe around water.

Presented by Stamford EMS, Safety4Kids and Chelsea Piers, the event was part of a year-long “Safety Step-Up” initiative developed by Stamford EMS in partnership with Safety4Kids that will work towards preventing accidents, illness and injury by raising safety awareness issues through outreach in our community.

The Safety Step-Up initiative will include a series of safety events, community partnerships, and plenty of safety tips to keep ourselves, our neighbors and our families educated on best safety practices.
