Teens Charged in Stamford Robbery

They tried escaping through a pond, but they were caught, police said.

STAMFORD, CT — Two 16-year-old boys were arrested after they held-up a Chinese food deliveryman Sunday afternoon, according to police.

The two used a BB gun and tried to escape through Holly Pond, but they were captured by officers, according to the Stamford Advocate.

A third male wasn't apprehended.

Police got word of the robbery after a witness called and said the delivery man was being robbed on Webb Avenue.
