Police announced that a third person has been charged in connection to the May 18 homicide that occurred on Ursula Place in Stamford.

STAMFORD, CT — Police announced on Wednesday evening that a third person has been charged in connection to the May 18 homicide at 90 Ursula Place in Stamford.

According to Capt. Richard Conklin of the Stamford Police Department, Deandre Parsons, 23, of Stamford, was extradited from Massachusetts to Stamford on Wednesday where he was charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder, as well as violation of parole. Conklin said Parsons is being held on a court-set bond of $1 million related to the murder charges, and $100,000 for the parole violation.

"I would like to commend the hard work and investigative abilities of Sgt. Jennifer Lynch, investigators Angel Gonzalez, Charles Williams, Luis Velez, Luis Serna and Nick Spinella of the Major Crime Unit for bringing this tragic case to a rapid conclusion. In addition, the guidance and assistance from the State’s Attorney’s Office of GA No. 1 in Stamford must be noted," Conklin said in an email Wednesday night. "Also our law enforcement partners the U.S. Marshals played a pivotal role in the arrest of Parsons as a fugitive in Massachusetts. In closing, the teamwork shown by patrol officers and crime scene investigations at the scene all contributed to the success of this investigation."
