WEATHER UPDATE: Stamford's Cold, Rainy St. Patrick's Day Weekend Forecast
Remember the spring tease with temperatures in 50s and 60s earlier this week? Well, it's back to reality — winter is still holding on.

Well, that was a nice break in the weather this week. We could all get used to temperatures in the 50s and 60s… but it’s back to reality, basically beginning now, and unfortunately, it’s just in time for St. Patrick’s Day weekend.
Some parades have already been rescheduled to next weekend.
The good news is that we’re not looking at any measurable snow or ice over the next seven days. However, we could see some snowflakes late Friday or early Saturday and some snow showers on Sunday.

And while we aren’t expecting any measurable snow, we also won’t see 50 degrees over the next seven days, unfortunately, as temperatures stubbornly remain in the low-to-mid 40s for the next week.
In fact, NBC Connecticut Meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan wrote on social media that we could still see more snow by the end of the month.

“DON’T SHOOT THE MESSENGER: But the way this weather pattern looks through the end of March I’d say odds are at least 50/50 we’ll see another decent snowstorm this season. A stormy and cold look for sure over the next couple weeks. Don’t break out the flip flops just yet.”
