Where did I leave it ?

My " Around the House " Tip of the Day for Thursday February 15, 2024:

Sometimes I am just at a loss where I have left a tool. It seems when I am multi-tasking I will grab a bunch of tools , shove them in my pockets (often scratching my phone lens protector !) and placing the tools on any flat surface temporarily, as I do a fix-up. When cleaning the gutters recently I found a pliers on the edge of the roof rusted and weathered, and today I found a leather hole cutting tool, buried behind some cans of hardware. It may be that it's time to start using a tool belt again. That would keep the tools I need close, and have me put them away where they belong after. When I did contracting years ago, I had everything I needed in my tool belt. Maybe I'll get a new one, or a carpetbagger type bag...
