Wife's Alt-Right Twitter Account Leads To WWE Firing: Report
The Stamford-based professional wrestling giant reportedly parted ways with one of its executives over his wife's views.

STAMFORD, CT — An executive with Stamford-based World Wrestling Entertainment has been fired by the company after the Huffington Post alerted the company by reporting that the employee's wife was behind an alt-right Twitter account, writes Westfair Communications.
Sal Siino, senior vice president of global content distribution and business development, was dismissed by the company at an undisclosed date after his wife, Amy Mekelburg, was exposed as the person behind the @AmyMek account.
For years, the Twitter page reportedly has promoted alt-right points of view and other controversial content, according to the HuffPost story, which was published at the end of last month.

The HuffPost author contacted the WWE twice about Siino and the account, and upon the second call he was told by a spokesperson that Siino was no longer with the company.
The @AmyMek page has more than 230,000 followers, and the profile description reads: "God, Family & Country; Sports Fitness & Vegan; Psychotherapist & Fixer; I Fight 4 the Wrongfully Incarcerated & Animals" with the hashtags #JewsForTrump and #NRA.

Since the story's publishing and outing, scores of supporters have come to her defense and offer support, for which she expressed her gratitude.
