Police Investigating North Stonington Stabbing Incident: Report

Police said they are still investigating a roadside stabbing incident that occurred in North Stonington.

NORTH STONINGTON, CT — Police said they are still investigating a roadside stabbing incident that occurred Wednesday afternoon, according to media reports. The incident occurred on Route 2 in North Stonington at about 3:30 p.m.

According to the New London Day, two men got into an argument while driving in a white pickup truck. During the argument, one of the men allegedly stabbed the other man with a knife, police said.

Police said both men suffered minor injuries and were taken to a hospital, according to News 8. Police also said there was no threat to the general public.

Police interviewed witnesses on the side of the road and used a K-9 to search the area around the truck, according to the New London Day. No arrests have been made in connection with the incident yet, police said.
