3 Charged In Stonington Burglary After Foot Chase: Report

Police said three men were charged with burglarizing a Pawcatuck shed​​ after leading officers on a foot chase.

STONINGTON, CT — Police said three men were charged with burglarizing a Pawcatuck shed early Friday morning, the New London Day reported. The suspects were later arrested after leading officers on a foot chase.

Police said the incident was reported at a home on Cronin Avenue at approximately 12:21 a.m., according to the New London Day. At the time of the arrest, the suspects were found to be in possession of illegal drugs, tools stolen from the shed and a BB gun that was allegedly used to shoot out car windows.

Police said 18-year-old Jacob B. Mitchell and 19-year-old Dillon Dooley, both of Pawcatuck, and Chris J. Baddessa, 22, of Richmond, R.I., were all charged in the incident, the New London Day reported. Police said one of the suspects allegedly tried to steal a bicycle from a Johnson Street home during the foot pursuit.
