6v6 Soccer Adult, High School Leagues Now Registering Teams

Stonington COMO's 6v6 leagues begin in June.

Stonington COMO is accepting registration for its ever-popular summer 6v6 leagues. The COMO Fields in the Stonington Borough turn into a recreation hub with warmer weather, and one of the most popular summer activities is the 6v6 soccer leagues offered for both adults and local high school students, staff said.

Divisions are broken down into High School, Men’s and Co-Ed. The league is structured as an 8-game season with a single elimination playoff round at the end for Men’s and Co-Ed divisions.

The leagues meet on different days throughout the week from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. High School League runs on Mondays, Men’s League on Tuesdays, and the Co-Ed League on Wednesdays.

League fees are $600 for Men’s and Co-Ed, and $450 for High School, which covers uniforms and staffing. You may have a maximum of 13 per team.

To learn more about the league and how to put together your team, visit the Stonington Como website for more information.

"If you want to play, but don’t have enough to put together a team, don’t worry," staff said. "You may contact our Athletic Program Manager Kelsey Haack, k.haack@thecomo.org, to be placed in a team before the season begins."
