Meet the COMO Preschool Readiness Program
Families of preschoolers looking to enroll in a preschool readiness program are welcome to join the Doris Muller Preschool of the Stonington Community Center for an exciting Open House! The COMO invites families on Saturday, March 8th from 10am to noon to meet our teachers and staff, tour our campus, and learn about our classroom curriculum. A mix of fun and exciting activities will introduce you to our Preschool Family including gym games, crafts in the COMO Art Studio, free play in the classroom and more!
The COMO’s Doris Muller Preschool has been educating children and enriching the lives of local families since 1969. Over the years its curriculum has grown and adapted, but the central mission stays the same – to create a loving and secure atmosphere that provides each child with the tools necessary to grow and develop socially, emotionally, intellectually and physically. The preschool program at the COMO takes full advantage of the COMO’s growing campus from exploring the natural world in the Children’s Garden to baking in the kitchen, from playing on the playground to creating in the Art Studio and everything in between. The COMO is also a state-licensed care facility, meaning smaller student to teacher ratios, and highly qualified and trained staff who are dedicated to fostering a warm, safe and loving environment for your youngsters.

Parents are encouraged to join us during the Open House at their leisure and learn more about how our curriculum and facilities encourage youth to explore and have fun while they grow and learn. Attendees should not forget to stop by the COMO Thrift Shop afterwards with a complimentary 20% off coupon. Refreshments will be provided.
