Annual Leaf Pickup Wrapping Up In Stonington

 The following is a message from Director of Public Works Joe Bragaw:

The Town of Stonington Highway Department is in the final stages of wrapping up our annual leaf pickup and brush/debris pickup after Hurricane Sandy.  Throughout this process, we have been regularly accessing all of the roads to see where the piles are located.  If there is a leaf or brush pile that has been on the side of the road for a few weeks now but we have not yet picked it, please call the Department at 860-535-5055.  We will do our best to pick up any remaining piles, but we will be switching over to winter operations shortly.
