Assignment: Earth and More at COMO!

Drama Classes Provide Many Options for Young Actors

Is your child ready to let their inner actor or actress out onstage? Sign up for one of the COMO’s youth Drama programs this fall! The COMO has three different Drama Class options, to fit everyone from beginners to practiced young performers.

Theater Kids Upper Primary fits children ages 7-10, and is a great introduction to theater. Kids build confidence with creative practice games and scenarios, leading up to a short scripted production to be enjoyed by family and friends.

Perform I also provides an introduction to theater, for children ages 10-13. This fun class builds serious theater skills, and students will help design and build their own sets, costumes and props.

Perform II is a natural choice for kids ages 10-13 who have prior acting experience. This session addresses all aspects of theater, from musicals to comedies and the advertising of productions. All students will be active in this fall’s production, Assignment: Earth – What Kids Can do to Save the Planet, a witty and charming musical that will be sure to entertain and inspire. Auditions will be held the first Saturday of the program, September 24th.
