Ayurveda is the sister science of yoga, a holistic healing system that uses food, yoga, meditation and other natural methods of healing to balance the elements in one's body. Join Emily Phillips-Geeza, yoga instructor and Ayurvedic practitioner, for an afternoon discussion about how this ancient healing modality can be applied to your daily life to heal your body, mind and spirit.

In this 3 hour workshop, you will learn about:
•The doshic and elemental theory, which governs all of life
•Simple ways to balance your health through right eating and exercise for your type
•The Ayurvedic approach to detox & weight loss
•Balancing your hormones in a natural way
•Ayurvedic consultation overview

Emily is a RYT200 hour PranaFlow® teacher, leading group classes and offering individual yoga therapy consultations and sessions in Mercersburg and Greencastle. She continues to study yoga and Ayurveda with her teachers Maria Garre and Sonia Masocco, of the Ayurvedic Institute, at Ananda Shala in Frederick, MD.
