Back To School Drive Announced To Help Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center

STONINGTON, CT - Representative Diana Urban (Democrat-Stonington) has announced a Back To School Drive to help the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at McQuade's Marketplace in Mystic, according to a release.

“The Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center is a wonderful organization that helps children in need," Urban said in a release, "and it is my hope that this drive will help those who are not as fortunate as others prepare for the school year.”

“I want our kids to have a chance to do the best they can at school," Urban said, "and I know they will appreciate everything we can do to help make the coming school year a success.”

Urban urged residents of the area to donate items such as:

• computer flash drives
• backpacks
• notebooks
• folders
• pens
• pencils
• erasers
• paper
• rules
• crayons
• scissors
• pencil sharpeners
