Bristol Woman Charged With Trespassing At Taylor Swift's RI Home: PD

The Westerly, RI police chief told Patch that Kimberly Meyer, 54, had been previously warned to stay off of pop star Swift's property.

WATCH HILL, RI — A Bristol, Connecticut woman was charged with trespassing at the home of pop star Taylor Swift Wednesday, police said.

Westerly (RI) Police were called to the front of 16 Bluff Ave., in the village of Watch Hill, located in the town of Westerly, for the report of a trespasser, Chief Paul Gingerella told Patch.

When cops got to the mansion overlooking Block Island Sound, a woman, identified as Kimberly Meyer, was outside the gates of Swift's home. Gingeralla said that Meyer had been "previously warned to not be on the property" and was subsequently arrested.

Meyer, 54, was charged with willful trespass. According to court records, Meyer waived extradition to the Ocean State on the charge. She was released on a $1,000 bail. She'll be arraigned on the misdemeanor charge in Fourth Division District Court on July 14.
