Adding native plants to your yard is the best way to support pollinators and other wildlife. There is still time to sow certain types of native wildflower and grass seeds this spring, including such favorites as bee balms, mountain mints and native bluestem grasses. Bring some planting containers like 1-gallon milk jugs or pots that are approximately 4 -6 inches wide and deep. Seeds, potting medium and labels will be provided, plus advice on seedling aftercare. Meets at DPNC.
