Winter Athletics at the COMO Now Registering!
Registration for winter soccer and basketball programs is now open and filling quickly! COMO Indoor Soccer, a seven week league for boys and girls ages 4 – 9 consists of games played on Sunday afternoons. Co-ed teams are split up by age group.

The COMO is also registering for its winter basketball athletics which includes three different programs. For youth in grades K-2, Instructional Basketball teaches the basic rules, skills and fundamentals of the game in a fun atmosphere! Each practice ends with games against other teams in the program. Season runs from January to February.

Stonington REC Basketball, offered in partnership with Stonington Human Services-Recreation Division, is designed specifically for youth in grades 3 – 8 and emphasizes skill development, sportsmanship and athletic enjoyment. Teams practice one per week at the COMO or local area school with games on Saturdays. Season runs from December to March.
The COMO travel basketball program, Journey Basketball, is recommended for more advanced players searching for a higher level of competition, practice and skill development. Youth in grades 5 – 8 practice twice per week with over 30 games on Saturdays and Sundays. Scott Sawyer continues to coordinate the curriculum and provide support to our parents, players and coaches. Registration for this program ends October 28th so register early to guarantee your spot!
