For Life of Westerly to host “Cheers for a Cause”

A
fundraiser to benefit longtime Relay For Life of Westerly planning committee

member diagnosed with cancer.

The Relay For Life of Westerly will host “Cheers for a
Cause,” a beer and wine tasting fundraiser to benefit longtime planning committee member, Teresa Banker, who was diagnosed with breast cancer last spring and
began treatments over the summer, leaving her unable to work since.  The event will take place on Friday, November
15, 2013 at Grey Sail Brewing of RI, 63 Canal Street, Westerly, from 7:00 – 10:00
pm.

Grey
Sail Brewing of RI will sample their beers and Charlestown Wine & Sprits

will provide a selection of wines for tasting. 
Complimentary food will be provided, and has been donated from area
businesses including Dunns Corners Market, Bogue’s Alley, and Pizza Lady.  In addition, there will be raffles and music
provided by Jay the DJ.

Tickets
cost $20 and can be purchased in advance or at the door.  To purchase advance tickets or make a

family to help offset the costs of daily living.
