Child Attending Stonington Daycare Tests Positive For Coronavirus
Local health officials said the child lives in Rhode Island but attends a Stonington daycare.

STONINGTON, CT — Ledge Light Health District, in cooperation with the Connecticut Department of Public Health, is currently investigating a laboratory confirmed case of COVID-19 in a daycare establishment in Stonington.
The child is a resident of Rhode Island. LLHD officials have been in contact with the administrators of the facility, and guidance is currently being provided to the caregivers of the children who attend the facility, officials said.
Caregivers of children deemed at risk for contracting COVID-19 will be instructed to:

• Keep their children at home for 14 days
• Contact their primary care provider if their child experiences a fever or cough, and follow that providers advice regarding the need for further medical evaluation.
