Chorus of Westerly - Twelfth Night Auditions

The Chorus of Westerly is seeking dozens of child and adult actors, acrobats, and dancers for its annual production of A Celebration of Twelfth Night, running in the George Kent

Performance Hall from January 10 through January 12, 2014.



Auditions for A Celebration of Twelfth Night, open to any member of the


general public, will take place on Saturday, November 9 and Sunday,

November

10, 2013 (a specific schedule is below) in the George Kent Performance

Hall,

119 High Street, Westerly, Rhode Island. The production requires cast

members

from all age groups. Children, teenagers, and adults are encouraged to

audition for the show. Previous acting experience is not a requirement

to audition for

stage roles (experience is encouraged for prospective dance and

gymnastic roles). Actors do not need to prepare anything for the

audition and will be given lines from the script to read at the actual

audition.



There are no advanced sign-up or audition time reservations.

Prospective cast members are requested to come during the appropriate

audition period listed on the schedule below. If casted, rehearsals from

Twelfth Night will begin

the evening of December 26 and last through the run of the show (January

10-12, 2014). Community cast members are not compensated. If there are

auditions for the entire 3-5 pm time period. Dancers are asked to call the


Chorus office if they want to audition for the show but cannot come on
