Chris Conte Benefit Jazz Concert

Vocalist and Upright Bassist, Chris Conte, performs Classic, Swinging American
Songbook Jazz & Blues favorites. He takes influence from musical legends,
such as: Nat "King" and Natalie Cole, Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank
Sinatra, Harry Connick Jr., and Diana Krall. His voice is often compared to that
of a young Chet Baker or Mel Torme; while his bass playing compliments his
dulcet vocals with a deep, dark, rich accompaniment. As of late, Chris has
incorporated selections from iconic blues man B.B. King and "The Genius of Soul"
Ray Charles to round out a tour of vintage Americana heard through Swing, Jazz
and Blues! Chris presents this material in a way that pays homage to the era as
well as the performers. His performance will satisfy audiences of all types.
While his singing, bass playing and band mates will be featured, the real star
