COMO Futsal Is a Fun Take on Traditional Soccer

Stonington, Connecticut – Register your child to experience the fun, fast pace of indoor soccer with a twist – Futsal season is just around the corner! Now one of the fastest growing international sports, Futsal is being offered for youth ages 4-8 this winter at the Stonington Community Center (COMO)

Started in the early 1900s, Futsal originated in Brazil, and quickly became popular for its emphasis on creative ball handling. The smaller, less bouncy futsal ball places focus on developing ball control and passing skills, providing an ideal learning environment for young players looking to carry the skills to their soccer game.

Two sessions will be offered for both U4-U6 (3pm-4pm) and U7-U8 players (4pm-5pm).

Session I: Sundays, January 8th – February 12th

Session II: Sundays, February 26th – April 2nd
