Dynamic Head Teacher needed to join the Stonington Community Center’s energetic team of before and after school teachers. Head Teacher applicants must be committed to providing an enriching and fun experience for all children in their care. Responsibilities include developing and implementing weekly lesson plans, supervising and assisting staff, maintaining a safe environment, and interacting with parents. Must have CT Head Teacher Certification or be able to attain it as well as experience working with children. Must be at least 20 years of age per CT regulations; strong oral and written communication skills; positive attitude; team player; group leadership skills, including an understanding of group dynamics; availability to attend and contribute to all staff meetings; contribute to staff morale; continue professional development; obtain First Aid and CPR certification; complete staff orientation; may be required to obtain specific license to drive the COMO van for children’s activities.
