Completion Date For Stonington School Project Pushed Back: Report
The project was previously scheduled to be completed in January 2019.
STONINGTON, CT — Project officials said the $67 million renovation and expansion of Deans Mill and West Vine Street schools will now be completed in March or April of 2019, the New London Day reported. The project was previously scheduled to be completed in January 2019.
According to the Day, the completion date was pushed back due to PCB contamination in each school needing to be encapsulated. With work slated to be finished in April, the schools should be ready to accept students in the fall of 2019.
