Connecticut Teen, 18, Missing Since Dec. 26: State Police
State Police are urging anyone with information on the whereabouts of the teen, who went to go ride his dirt bike, to contact them.

STERLING, CT — State Police are again seeking information in the disappearance of a Connecticut teen who went missing on Dec. 26.
The Connecticut State Police Eastern District Major Crimes Squad at Troop D in Danielson are attempting to locate Todd Allen, 18, who was last seen on Dec. 26. Allen is approximately 5’10” tall, 130 pounds, and was last seen wearing a camo patterned zip-up hooded sweatshirt and carrying a black back pack.
On Dec. 26 at 7:39 p.m., Troopers responded to 42 Dixon Road in Sterling for the report of Todd Allen missing. Todd Allen left his residence at 42 Dixon Road on a dirt bike, alone at approximately 1230 p.m., to ride on local trails as he commonly does, State Police said.

His dirt bike does not have a headlight and he told his parents that he would be back by 4 p.m. Allen did not return. His parents reported this to be out of character for him, State Police said. Last cell phone activity was at approximately 2:30 p.m. on December 26, and placed the phone in the general area of Margaret Henry Road in Killingly, State Police said.

The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, Sterling Fire Department, and Connecticut State Police personnel have checked local trails with negative results at this time.
