Coyote Sighting in North Stonington
N. Stonington Animal Control is urging residents to keep a close watch on their pets.
AT 12:30 p.m. today [Wednesday, Oct. 14], a coyote was spotted on Wyassup Road in North Stonington, according to North Stonington Animal Control.
The coyote was spotted in someone’s yard and didn’t seem fazed by the homeowner’s presence, Animal Control said.
“He did eventually go into the woods,” Animal Control said. “He did not look sick/disoriented to the homeowner Please keep cats inside and keep an eye on your dogs when they are outside at all times.”
