Perspectives on Israelis, Palestinians, and Possibilities for Peace

The Mystic Area Ecumenical Council invites you to a series of compassionate conversations through films and presentations, in an on-going dialogue about conflict in Palestine and Israel. MAEC’s intention is to educate ourselves so that we can have more informed understandings of a major political conflict that impacts us as citizens and as Christians. All are welcome.

“5 BROKEN CAMERAS”

2012 Academy Award Nominee for Best Documentary, filmed and co-directed by Palestinian farmer Emad Burnat and Israeli filmmaker Guy Davidi, 5 Broken Cameras is a first-hand account of protests in Bil’in, a West Bank village affected by the Israeli West Bank barrier.

Presented by the Mystic Area Ecumenical Council Movie and moderated discussion to be held at Union Baptist Church 119 High Street, Mystic.
