
1. The Rotary Club of Mystic is accepting grant requests from local non-profit organizations. According to an announcement posted on Patch, grant applications must be postmarked before March 31. For more information visit www.mysticrotary.org.
2. The Mystic drawbridge remains closed today. The 54-hour Mystic drawbridge closure began on Monday and lasts until 6 p.m., on Wednesday, March 13. The closure will allow the installation of a vehicle barrier gate system that will span Route 1 on the Stonington side of the bridge. Businesses in downtown Mystic will remain open during the closure.
3. The Stonington Free Library hosts a Drop In Story Time for children up to two-years-old today at 10:30 a.m., and for children ages three to six today at 11:30 a.m. Stop by for story time with books, finger plays and songs.

4. Anyone interested in the Dual Language and Arts Magnet Middle School can take a tour of the school from 6 to 7 p.m., tonight.
5. The Chelsea Groton Foundation is now accepting grant applications. According to an announcement posted on Patch the grant application deadline is Friday, March 22, 2013. Grants are distributed to charitable and social service agencies serving southeastern Connecticut and southern Rhode Island.
