Development of Modern Sea kayaking through Expeditions & Journeys Around the World

Nigel Dennis, a world renowned sea kayaking explorer, will be delivering a talk on the development of modern sea kayaking through expeditions and journey's around the world.

Nigel started his kayaking career in 1980 when the circumnavigated Great Britain.  This expedition was the first successful circumnavigation of Scotland, Wales & England taking 65 kayaking days.  Since then Nigel has carried out expeditions in Antartica, Easter Island, Cape Horn and South Georgia Island.

His business, Sea Kayaking UK, located in Holyhead, Anglesey, North Wales, is known throughout the world for its range of performance craft.  As a member of Holyhead Lifeboat crew, Nigel has been a key player in sea safety education work carried conjunction with the RNLI in respect of sea kayaking.
