The Mystic & Noank Library is presenting a series of discussions on different topics relating to divorce from the woman’s perspective. Alicia Pena, LCSW, will lead the discussions. The first discussion takes place on Tuesday, September 10 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The topic is Life After Divorce: The Feminine Experience.
Pena writes, “It takes courage and imagination for a woman to experience the exhilaration of a new beginning. As traumatic as divorce may be, it can lead to the possibility of self-discovery: a self-discover that opens the channels of the mind-body-spirit connection.”
During the hour, attendees will explore how women have the possibility to experience the unfolding of their talents and strengths through their own journey.
