Discussion: Women Divorce Money

The Mystic & Noank Library is presenting a series of discussions on different topics relating to divorce from the woman’s perspective.  Alicia Pena, LCSW, will lead the discussions.  The third discussion in the series takes place on Tuesday, November 12 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The topic is Women Divorce Money.

Women rank financial issues as the most pressing personal concern in their lives. The stress of divorce can exacerbate the feeling of financial loss and control. During the hour, a certified financial planner will join the group, and together will look at the emotional and practical matters of money.

Alicia Pena is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker with many years experience working with children and families. She is a psychotherapist in private practice in Waterford, Connecticut. The discussion is free and open to the public. Limited childcare will be available by advance registration only.  For more information or for childcare, call (860) 536-7721 or emailmnldevelopment@juno.com. (860) 572-7211.
