COMO Art and Tech Classes Teach Dreams Can Be Reality

This fall, ensure your kids are having a blast after school by enrolling them into an art or technology class at the COMO! We offer a wide variety of new media and art classes, including Minecraft, Cartooning, Intro to Digital Photography, Screen Printing, and Intro to 3D Printing. Our classes offer students the opportunity to try classes they might not be introduced to until high school or beyond! If you can imagine it, you can create it!

Minecraft Classes A & B explore this popular game through the lens of art, physics and architecture. Students will learn composition skills, color balance, and 3D modeling design.

Video Production leapfrogs off the Summer session, and delves deeper into video. Students learn the basics of video production, and get to produce short videos for a web platform.

In Cartooning, students will discover techniques to combine simple pictures with well-chosen words to create character, plot and meaning for the reader. Character development, story lines, and humor are all topics covered in this class

Intro to Digital Photography is a hands-on class, demonstrating how to capture the perfect shot while using an advance DSLR camera. Photography fundamentals of light, shadow, exposure and composition will be explored.

Screen Printing will take you from conception to final product, showing students how to use screen printing equipment and tools, basic tips and tricks

Intro to 3D Printing exposes students to 3D printing terminology, software, and materials commonly available. Students will be able to print something of their own creation by the end of the session!
