Effective Exercise: It’s Form, Form, Form

By building strength, increasing flexibility and getting that heart pumping, we are helping you prepare your body to function beautifully in everyday life.

In real estate the mantra is location, location, location. In exercise, it’s form, form, form.

I am just back from 16 hours of training with Tracey Mallett, creator of The Booty Barre, a terrific workout that I offer at my Stonington studio, Beyond the Barre.

What was stressed to us throughout the training was the importance of maintaining proper form while exercising. Technique is crucial to making sure that you get the results you want from your fitness program. If your body is out of alignment while you are performing the exercises, you won’t get the results you are looking for.

It is so important while working out to understand where the exercise is coming from: your core, your gluts, and your triceps. By staying focused on this, your muscles get the maximum workout. By building strength, increasing flexibility and getting that heart pumping, we are helping you prepare your body to function beautifully in everyday life.

Helping you get the most out of the time you devote to getting fit is one of our most important goals!
