Mystic Lions Sell Hot Dogs at Irish Parade

 Mystic Lions Announces Fund-Raising Food Stand at the 2012 Mystic Irish Parade Sunday March 25^th

 Mystic Lions will be selling Hot Dogs, Kielbasa and Beverages across the street from the flagpole starting at 11am on parade day.    All proceeds from the sale will support Lions Club charities.

 In addition, Mystic Lions will be collecting dollars for the International Measles Initiative.  For every $2 dollars, the Gates Foundation will match $1.  Each day measles kills 450 children around the world, yet the vaccine costs less than US$1.   Mystic Lions Club has joined with Lions Clubs International and the Bills and Melinda Gates Foundation to help save 157 million children this year. 

 Lions Clubs International serve the communities of the world through charity and service, with special interest in helping the blind and preventing blindness.  The Mystic Lions Club welcomes inquiries from prospective new members.  Membership information will be available at the parade or from any Mystic Lion or call Lion Read at 860-536-0310.
