Are you a paddle enthusiast looking for a good day on the river? Join our veteran kayaker Al Brown for a paddle on the Wood River from Hope Valley to Woodville. We will put-in below the Wyoming Dam and continue down the river past an old mill with portage around Maple Avenue Dam. Beautifully wooded, winding channels open up once we reach the pond at Woodville, where we finish and take-out. A shuttle enables a one-way trip.
Bring your own kayak or canoe. And don't forget to bring lunch! Paddle departs the Nature Center on Saturday, July 4th at 9 a.m. or at the put-in at 9:30 a.m. Approximate end time is 3 p.m. Members are $20 per person and non-members are $25.
