Fishers Island Community Center Seeks New Director
The Center is the epicenter of the Island, offering programs, classes, and special events for year-round and seasonal members of all ages.
Fishers Island Community Center (FICC)
Position Title: Director
Reports to President of FICC Board of Directors
GENERAL FUNCTION
Responsible for the various functions of the FICC including overseeing and managing the following: fundraising and development; employees; programing; facilities; events; annual operating budget; and reporting to the President of the FICC Board. The Director welcomes visitors and community members; promotes membership; develops and implements FICC programing; answers questions and gives tours of the building while working with various Island organizations to optimize the use and availability of the FICC.
Successful candidates will meet most of the following criteria: College degree, management experience, fundraising experience, budget experience, enjoy interacting with people and outside vendors, ability to multi-task, and have competence working with QuickBooks, websites, mass mailings, grant writing, Word, Excel, and Photoshop.
