Led by Stonington High School Head Tennis Coach John Adriano, the Stonington Community Center, Inc. is offering fall tennis for youth and adults! Learn how to serve, volley, and improve your forehand or backhand stroke this fall, and keep your tennis game strong!
Youth ages 8-15 can take either group or private lessons this fall. Group sessions run Saturdays, September 10 – October 1. Players ages 12-15 meet from 8:00am – 9:00am, and players ages 8-11 meet from 9:00am – 10:00am. To register for one-hour, private lessons, first sign up on the COMO website, http://www.thecomo.org/fall-youth-tennis. Once you have signed up, your lessons will be scheduled with Mr. Adriano. Private lessons are available in the morning, dependent upon the instructor’s availability. Players should wear tennis shoes or sneakers on the courts, and should bring a racket to practice.
Adults can take private lessons with Coach Adriano as well! Morning, hour-long lessons are available based on instructor availability. Get to know the basics of tennis, or continue to improve your skills this fall. To sign up for adult lessons, visit http://www.thecomo.org/adult-tennis, and once you have registered, classes will be scheduled with Coach Adriano.
