Game, Set Match: Get Moving This Fall with Paddle Tennis at the COMO!
The paddle tennis season at the COMO begins now! Register for your membership online or at the COMO Main Building.
As cooler weather rolls in, play Paddle Tennis to stay active through the fall and winter months. Paddle, or Platform Tennis, is a great sport to get and stay in shape, and can be played when most sports are out of season.
Join Paddle Professionals and National Platform Tennis Champions Steve and Trish Griggs at the Stonington Community Center this fall to learn the basics, or to improve your game. Steve and Trish will be teaching beginner, intermediate and advanced paddle clinics starting October 11. In these clinics, you will learn the fundamentals, as well as game strategy. Each session will conclude with a game, to reinforce the skills learned that day while playing for points.
If you are interested in Paddle Tennis, a Paddle Membership is the key to giving you access to all things Paddle that the COMO offers. Paddle members enjoy the ability to schedule private course usage, pro paddle lessons, and are eligible for member rates on all paddle programming, as well as access to members-only leagues and a member’s only Paddle Boot Camp happening October 1 and 2! Paddle Boot Camp will be a fantastic, intensive session to tune-up all aspects of your game. Steve and Trish Griggs will get you into paddle shape with various drills and games, and set the tone for the rest of the paddle season.
