Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce Welcomes Events Director

The Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce Cherie’lin Toporowski as the new Events Director. In her new role, Toporowski will be coordinating numerous chamber events including Fusion, Mystic Outdoor Arts Festival, and Taste of Mystic.

Prior to joining the Mystic Chamber, Cherie’lin Toporowski completed her education from Eastern Connecticut State University and attended Savannah College of Art and Design for Arts Administration in Masters Program. As a Graduate Student at SCAD, Toporowski taught Special Events Planning and assisted the college with events throughout the city of Savannah. Most recently, she worked for the Mystic Arts Center as Assistant Educator for Studio Programs and freelances as a grant writer for nonprofits throughout the state.

“The Chamber and our Executive Board is pleased to have Cherie’lin join our staff," President Tricia Walsh said. "We look forward to her insight and enthusiasm in planning our wonderful events. Cherie’lin is a great asset to our organization and we couldn’t be happier to have her on board.”
