Historic Mystic Building Converted Into Luxury Inn

A 200-year-old building in downtown Mystic has been restored into an inn, offering seven suites steps from the waterfront.

MYSTIC, CT — A historic downtown building has been given new life with the opening of the Mystic River Inn.

The inn is located inside the former Case Bottle House, a 200-year-old structure that has been restored and converted into a seven-room property just steps from downtown Mystic and the waterfront.

According to the owners, preserving the character of the building was a central focus of the project. The original façade and window locations were maintained, while updates were made to siding and architectural details. Inside, uneven beams and other historic elements were incorporated into the redesign while structural improvements were made to reinforce the aging building.
