Friends Holiday Book Sale

The Friends of the Westerly Public Library and Wilcox Park have been the fundraising and volunteering champions since 1972. They sponsor special programs on art, history, music, and readings by renowned authors. In 2005, they established the Friends Endowment Fund with the interest going towards the operating costs of the Library and Park.

The Friends of the Westerly Library and Wilcox Park are best known for the book sales they hold to benefit the library. Currently they are held in the Spring, Summer and Winter. All proceeds from the sales go towards the purchase of new materials for the Library.

The next Book Sale will take place December 2nd - 5th, 2015, with a Friends Only Preview Night - Tuesday Dec. 1st, from 5 -7:30 pm.

The Book Sale takes place in the Terrace Room on the Third Floor of the Westerly Public Library at 44 Broad St. in Downtown Westerly, RI.

Friends Only Preview Night:

(Friends’ membership or $10) Tuesday, December 1st 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm

Wednesday, December 2nd 10:00 am to 7:30 pm

Thursday, December 3rd 10:00 am to 5:30 pm

Friday, December 4th 10:00 am to 5:30 pm

Saturday, December 5th** 9:30 am to 3:30 pm - **$10 bag sale all day
