Holidays Shopping Trail Is A Win-Win: Shop Local. Win Prizes.

For every dollar you spend at a local business, around 67 cents stays in the community. There’s no better reason to shop local. Actually, the chance to win trip to Ireland is also a pretty good reason.

In more than 30 New London, Tolland and Windham County towns and more than 140 businesses, beginning Saturday Nov. 30, Small Business Saturday, until Christmas Eve, Tuesday Dec. 24, shoppers can grab a Holiday Shopping Trail passport, and then collect stickers by visiting, shopping or dining locally.

From Andover to Willimantic, Bozrah to Stonginton, collect stickers when you shop for anything and everything from: bikes, bridal hardware and CBD products; toys, cupcakes and artwork; jewelry, pastry and books; antiques, wreaths and ceramics; craft beer, local wines and coffee; spas, hair salons and nail salons.

The stickers enter you into a drawing for prizes, including gift cards and certificates, gadgets, or even free round-trip airfare to Ireland courtesy of Aer Lingus.

There will be one winner for the grand prize flight to Ireland. Entry requires 25 stickers.

The second prize, where an entry requires 15 stickers, is the one winner's choice of over 100 day tours from a journey into New York City to see the 9/11 Memorial and One World Observatory or a sojourn to Cape Cod.

The third prize, which requires 8 stickers, and will be awarded to more than 50 winners, are gift certificates for wine tastings, gift baskets, and more.
