Homeless Camp Torn Down in Stonington
The town became aware of the compound about a year ago.

The occupants of a homeless encampment in Stonington have been provided with shelter and the compound has been torn down, reports The Day.
Town officials moved the last person out of the camp this week, a woman who had been injured at the camp by a fire last year. The camp was located behind the West Vine Street School in Pawcatuck, in a secluded wooded area.
About six people had lived there.
