Homeless Man Charged for Entering Couple’s Mystic Hotel Room to Change and Clean Up: Police

After fast-talking his way into a couple's hotel room, he proceeded to change and clean himself up.

STONINGTON, CT – A homeless man is charged with entering a couple’s hotel room Saturday, then changing and cleaning up before leaving, the Westerly Sun reported.

Ezekiel Sheppard, 39, who last lived in New London, told a woman and her children at the Days Inn that her husband had let him use the room to change his clothes, according to the Westerly Sun. He entered and began changing before the woman could answer.

Police were called to the scene and later found Ezekiel at the intersection of Route 27 and Jerry Brown Road, according to the Westerly Sun. He was arrested and found to be wanted in South Carolina on a non-extraditable warrant.
