Sorry I haven't posted for awhile. I have been on a staycation. That's what the hairless two-legger calls it. I call it business as usual. I tried to post an update, but Matisse hopped up on the keyboard and did the Charleston, and my post was full of phrases like "&&&&&&&&CCCCCCCCIIIIIII"""""#########". Maybe that's French for "I'm a stoopid cat".
Yesterday, the not-so-hairy one was out catching fish for Matisse, and I took the opportunity to surf the interwebs as a way of avoiding writing my blog. And imagine my amazement and dismay at discovering the annual "Take Your Dog to Work Day" passed unnoticed last June 21. I don't think the nice smelling two-legger took me to work, although I don't remember if she did or didn't, which is as good as she didn't. And the hairless one works at home, so if he did take me to work, it wasn't any big deal.
Matisse said they will be taking him to work on "Take Your Nasty Little Feline to Work Day". As long as I was on the intertubes, he asked me to look up when it was. I told him it had been cancelled, forever. And replaced with "Give Your Ungrateful Fish-breathed Kitty a Cold Shower Day" which will run continuously for the rest of the year. He said something about the two-leggers loving him more than me. I say, if they think he loves them so much and can't be without them, leave the front door open for five minutes. Poof, vanishing cat.
I have to go, MOS (Matisse Over Shoulder). It's nap time anyway.
