The IRONS at Hilton Mystic wins 14th Annual Mistick Village Charity Chowder Cook-Off

Chefs Shawn O’Regan and Todd Wagner of The IRONS Restaurant and Bar at the Hilton Mystic win first place in the People’s Choice category during Olde Mistick Village’s 14th Annual Cabin Fever Festival and Charity Cook-Off this past weekend.

Located inside Hilton Mystic, The IRONS Restaurant and Bar is anchored by locally sourced seafood, creative classics and dishes to share - all with seasonal and local ingredients.

The winning dish, Bacon Bourbon Corn Chowder, was selected by the public for Best Chowder category which tied with Dog Watch Café of Stonington Borough.

“I am so excited for The IRONS and our culinary team winning People's Choice at the chowder festival,” said Hilton Mystic General Manager Terri Almond. “This annual event sponsored by our neighbors, Olde Mistick Village, is a fun event for a great cause that we look forward to participating in every year.”

All proceeds from this event benefit The Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center Emergency Food Pantry.
